My system keeps blowing fuses.
This is typically the result of a short in the camera cable. Areas to look at include:

Step 1 |
Unplug the camera cable(s) from the monitor pigtail(s) and replace the fuse. Turn the system on. Did the fuse blow? Note: Use only properly rated 5 amp fuses. | Contact your INTEC service rep. They may ask you to return your monitor for service. |

Step 2 | Is your system a multi camera system using a Car Vision switcher? | Go to step 3 | Go to step 4 |
Step 3 | Unplug all the camera cables from the switcher box and plug only the switcher back into the monitor. Did the fuse blow? | Contact your INTEC service rep. They may ask you to return your switcher for service. | Go to step 4 |
Step 4 | Plug the camera cables back in one at a time. Did the fuse blow? Make note if the fuse blows again on which cable you plugged in when it happened. | Go to step 5 | Done |
Step 5 | Unplug the camera from the cable that blew the fuse. This time only plug the cable back in. Did the fuse blow again? | Replace the cable and retest | Go to step 6 |
