I cannot turn my display off.

Step 1
Are you using the correct remote? CVR100 when using a CVS100 or CVS102 controller and a CVR500 when using a CVS500 controller.
Go to step 2
Replace with the correct remote and retest
Step 2 Does the remote beep when voltage is applied, are the buttons lit up? Go to step 3 Go to step 5
Step 3 Do you see the On Screen Distance Grid when the display is on? Go to step 4 Go to step 5
Step 4 Check the wiring at the controller. Are the red and blue wires tied together?

Red should be connected to a post ignition power source and blue to the reverse gear circuit.
Correct wiring and retest Go to step 5
Step 5 Check your connections at the remote and the display to controller cable. Make sure they are not damaged and are connected properly. Is the cable, connections and remote okay? Go to step 6 Reconnect and/or replace as necessary and retest
Step 6 Contact your INTEC Service Rep. They may ask you to return your remote control, controller, display and display to controller cable for service.
