My system will not come on automatically in reverse but comes on manually via the remote.

This is typically the result of incorrect wiring at the controller Areas to look at include:
  • Vehicle connection
  • Controller

Step 1
 Check the voltage supplied to the controller on the blue wire when the vehicle is placed in reverse. It should be between +11 and +32 volts. Do you have the proper voltage?
Go to step 2
Apply correct voltage and retest
Step 2 Early versions of the controller had an external fuse for reverse. Is your controller equipped with a fuse for reverse and is it blown? Replace fuse and retest Go to step 3
Step 3 Contact your INTEC Service Rep. They may ask you to return your controller for service.
